IBPS photo, signature, thumb impression and declaration
IBPS PO, Clerk and RRB need four images: photo 200 × 230 px (20–50 KB), signature 140 × 60 px (10–20 KB), left thumb 240 × 240 px (20–50 KB) and a handwritten declaration 800 × 400 px (50–100 KB).

The browser enforces this: the site’s security policy only lets the page talk to the code libraries’ servers and an anonymous usage counter (tool name, file type, size range). A request carrying your file to anywhere else would be blocked before it left.
Check it yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run the tool. Or turn off Wi-Fi once the tool has loaded; it keeps working.
How it works
IBPS PO, Clerk and RRB need four images: photo 200 × 230 px (20–50 KB), signature 140 × 60 px (10–20 KB), left thumb 240 × 240 px (20–50 KB) and a handwritten declaration 800 × 400 px (50–100 KB).
Every IBPS application asks for the same four scans at 200 DPI in JPG. The photograph is 200 × 230 pixels, 20 to 50 KB, in colour on a light, preferably white background, without a cap or dark glasses. The signature is 140 × 60 pixels, 10 to 20 KB, in black ink on white paper, and signatures in capital letters are rejected. The left thumb impression is 240 × 240 pixels, 20 to 50 KB, in black or blue ink. The handwritten declaration is 800 × 400 pixels, 50 to 100 KB, written by you in English in black ink, not in capitals; its exact wording is shown here to copy out, and it differs slightly for RRB (“submit” rather than “present”). IBPS also takes a live photo during the form. Add a phone photo for each slot and every file is framed, cleaned and saved within its range, then downloaded together.
How to use it
- Pick IBPS. The sizes it asks for load with a link to the official notice.
- Add each image. A phone photo is fine: drag and zoom inside the exact frame.
- Check the list. Format, pixels and KB are checked the way the portal checks them.
- Download. One file per upload, already named and sized.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the IBPS photo size?
- 200 × 230 pixels, 20 to 50 KB, JPG, colour, light background.
- What is the IBPS signature size?
- 140 × 60 pixels, 10 to 20 KB, JPG, black ink on white paper, not in capital letters.
- What is the IBPS handwritten declaration text?
- “I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.” For RRB it ends “I will submit the supporting documents”.
- What is the IBPS thumb impression size?
- 240 × 240 pixels, 20 to 50 KB, left thumb in black or blue ink.
- Why does the portal still reject my file?
- Check you picked the right exam, and that the file you upload is the one downloaded here, not a screenshot or a copy re-saved by another app. Notices change between cycles, so compare with the official link shown on the page.
- Are my photo and signature uploaded?
- No. They are cropped, cleaned and compressed in your browser, on your device. Location and camera details are removed from the saved files.
