The browser enforces this: the site’s security policy only lets the page talk to the code libraries’ servers and an anonymous usage counter (tool name, file type, size range). A request carrying your file to anywhere else would be blocked before it left.

How it works

Type new pixel dimensions or click a percentage chip. The aspect ratio is locked by default (typing a new width auto-updates the height), tap the lock icon to unlock and stretch freely. Choose the output format (JPEG, WebP, PNG) and quality for the lossy formats. The result block shows the new dimensions, file size, and saving percentage, with a green / amber indicator for whether the resize made the file smaller (almost always) or larger (rare). For upscaling, the maximum is 4x the original. Browser canvas resampling is used (bilinear). For very large reductions or scientific-grade resampling, the result is good but not lab-quality. Output filename has -resized appended with the new extension.
How to use it
- Drop your image. JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF; drag it in, choose it, or paste it.
- Pick the size. Type pixels with the aspect ratio locked, drag a percentage, or choose a preset like Instagram post or passport photo.
- Choose format and limit. Pick JPG, PNG or WebP, and optionally keep the file under 50 KB, 100 KB or any size a form asks for.
- Download. The preview and file size update live; download when it looks right.

- Can I make an image bigger?
- Yes, up to 4x the original. Upscaling beyond the native resolution introduces blur, that's a physics limit, not a tool limit.
