The browser enforces this: the site’s security policy only lets the page talk to the code libraries’ servers and an anonymous usage counter (tool name, file type, size range). A request carrying your file to anywhere else would be blocked before it left.
Check it yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run the tool. Or turn off Wi-Fi once the tool has loaded; it keeps working.
How it works
Pick the pages you want and download a new PDF with just those pages.
Type a list of pages and ranges (1, 3, 5-7) and the tool builds a fresh PDF containing only those pages, in the order you listed them. Useful for grabbing one chapter out of a long document, or pulling a handful of pages to share without sending the whole file. Pages are copied at full quality, not re-rendered. The output filename has -extracted appended. This is similar to Split PDF with custom ranges, but produces a single output file rather than a ZIP of parts. Built on pdf-lib in the browser.
How to use it
- Drop your PDF. Drag the PDF into the upload area.
- List the pages you want. Type pages and ranges like 1, 3, 5-7 in the order you want them in the output.
- Extract. Hit Extract and the tool copies just those pages into a new PDF at full quality.
- Download. The new file downloads with -extracted added to the filename.

- Type the page number in the Pages field, e.g. 5, and hit extract. You'll get a single-page PDF.
- Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
