Nothing has left this page since you opened the tool. Show network activity

The browser enforces this: the site’s security policy only lets the page talk to the code libraries’ servers and an anonymous usage counter (tool name, file type, size range). A request carrying your file to anywhere else would be blocked before it left.

Check it yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run the tool. Or turn off Wi-Fi once the tool has loaded; it keeps working.

    How it works

Paste a screenshot (Ctrl/⌘ + V) or drop an image, drag solid boxes over what should stay private, and save a clean PNG.

Screenshots of chats, bank SMS, emails and order pages get shared all day, usually with an account number, phone number or address still showing. This tool lets you cover them in seconds without sending the image anywhere: paste or drop it, drag boxes over the private parts, undo if you slip, and save. Boxes are solid black or white and burned into a new PNG. Nothing is blurred or pixelated, which matters because blurred text can sometimes be reconstructed. The saved file is re-encoded, so metadata such as location is dropped. Optional: Find numbers & emails runs a text-recognition engine (Tesseract, about 15 MB once) on your device and boxes account, card, Aadhaar, PAN and phone numbers, emails and UPI IDs. It can miss things, especially small, stylised or low-contrast text, and it doesn't find names or addresses, so always check the preview before you share.

    How to use it

    1. Paste or drop an image. Press Ctrl/⌘ + V with a screenshot copied, or drop any image.
    2. Drag boxes. Drag over anything private. Tap a box to remove it, or use Undo. Optionally let it find numbers and emails.
    3. Save the PNG. Save a new PNG with the boxes burned in, and check it before sharing.

    Frequently asked questions

Can I paste a screenshot directly?
Yes. Copy a screenshot and press Ctrl + V (⌘ + V on Mac) on this page. Pasting another image starts over with the new one.
Why solid boxes instead of blur?
Blur and pixelation keep some of the original information, and there are known ways to recover text from them. A solid box replaces the pixels completely.
    Is the image uploaded?
No. Drawing, text recognition and saving all happen in your browser. The image never leaves your device.
Does Find numbers & emails catch everything?
No. It's a helper, not a guarantee. It reads clear printed text well but misses small, stylised or low-contrast text, and it doesn't look for names or addresses. Check the preview and drag boxes over anything it missed.
