## How it works

Drop any video the browser can decode (MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV, AVI). A trimmer lets you drag handles to grab just part of the audio, or leave them at the ends for the whole track. Pick a format (MP3 is universal, M4A is AAC with better quality per kilobyte, OGG is Vorbis, WAV is uncompressed). For the lossy formats, set a bitrate (128, 192, 256, or 320 kbps). First use loads ffmpeg.wasm (~25 MB) from CDN, then it's cached. Processing happens locally, no upload. The trimmer doesn't snap to keyframes for audio extraction, so you can pick any start and end down to a tenth of a second. Output filename keeps the source name with the new extension.
