Convert iPhone photos to JPG, PNG, or WebP. Free, no signup. Runs entirely in your browser; files are never uploaded.

## How it works

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the default photo format on iPhones. It's compact, but Windows, Android, many websites and most upload forms can't open it. Drop one photo or a folder's worth: each one converts as soon as it lands, with a thumbnail and its before-and-after size. Choose JPG for the widest compatibility, PNG for lossless editing, or WebP for smaller web images, and set the quality. To make photos easier to email or upload, cap the longest side at 4000, 2048 or 1080 pixels; smaller photos are left alone. Changing a setting reconverts everything automatically. The new files don't carry the original's location, date taken or camera details, and the photo's rotation is applied so nothing ends up sideways. Download photos one by one or all together as a ZIP. Safari decodes HEIC natively; other browsers use libheif compiled to WebAssembly, on your device. Multi-image HEIC files (Live Photos, bursts) give the main still. A converted JPG is often larger than the HEIC: HEIC is the more efficient format, so that isn't a bug.

## How to use it

1. **Drop your HEIC photos.** One or many. Each converts as soon as it lands, with a thumbnail and its new size.
2. **Pick format and quality.** JPG for compatibility, PNG for lossless, WebP for smaller files.
3. **Resize if you need to.** Cap the longest side at 4000, 2048 or 1080 px for email and uploads.
4. **Download.** Save photos one by one, or all at once as a ZIP.

## Frequently asked questions

### How do I convert HEIC to JPG without software?

Open this page in any modern browser, drop your HEIC photos, and download the JPGs. Nothing is installed and nothing is uploaded; conversion runs on your device.

### Can I convert many HEIC photos at once?

Yes. Drop as many as you like; they convert one after another, and Download all saves them in a single ZIP.

### Why is the converted JPG bigger than the HEIC?

HEIC compresses better than JPEG, so the same photo takes more space as a JPG. Lower the quality, pick WebP, or cap the size at 2048 or 1080 px for smaller files.

### Is the location removed from my photos?

Yes. The converted files are new images without the original's GPS location, date taken or camera details. Rotation is applied first so photos stay upright.

### Is my photo uploaded?

No. Photos are decoded and converted in your browser; the network log on the page shows that none of its requests contain your files.
